Feel like you're on another planet without leaving Earth!
With surreal landscapes and formations, this tour gives the feeling of being somewhere outside planet Earth. The salt flats we visit were formed millions of years ago by volcanic activity in the area, such as the symbolic volcanoes of San Pedro de Atacama: Licancabur and Juriques. The Quisquiro Salar, for example, represents the type of landscape that NASA scientists believe existed on Mars when the red planet had water, billions of years ago. In addition to local fauna, on this tour you can also see part of the installation of some Atacama observatories, such as ALMA and Tao.
What to take: cold weather clothing in layers (footwear, hat, gloves, scarf), hat/cap, sunscreen, sunglasses and water (1.5 L per person). Not recommended for pregnant women.
Dispensers throughout the prison to combat diseases…and it was a Roaring Success (as in Roaring Drunk)
